Meet Matt Macia, Peoples Bank’s new Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

Matt brings 30 years of banking and risk management experience in both small community banks and large institutions. He joins us most recently from Edward Jones, where he served as a key risk executive, and previously served as CRO at TIAA Bank and Bank of the Sierra. He appreciates Peoples Bank’s focus on clients and community.

He holds a BA in Economics from Fresno State, and completed his graduate degree at the London School of Economics. Matt is excited to take the excellent foundation of risk management that has been built by our team and help us grow it into the future.

Matt stays involved in his community as Chairperson of the Sequoia National Park Conservancy Board of Directors. He and his wife of 26 years have two children, Morgan and Joey. Matt is an avid fly fisherman, cyclist and photographer.
