What should I do if my debit card is damaged or about to expire?

Call your local branch and talk to one of our representatives. We will automatically send you a new debit card before your current one expires, and you can replace an existing card for a small fee if it is lost or damaged. 

To obtain immediate customer service or account support, call our Customer Care Center at 800.374.6123, Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., or Saturday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

If you suspect you are a victim of debit card fraud outside of the above hours, call 800.374.6123 option 3, then option 1, then option 2.

What do I do if I forget my username, password or security question answers?

Select “Forgot your password?” on the log in screen of online or mobile banking if you have forgotten your Peoples Bank password.

Select “Unlock/Forgot Username” on the log in screen of online or mobile banking if you have forgotten your username.

How can I view/edit my contact information?

Customers will need to contact their local branch to alert an associate of a name, address, phone number or other contact update.

How do I locate my routing and account number?

Peoples Bank Routing Number: 044202505

Routing Numbers are nine digit numbers that can also be referred to as Banking Routing Numbers, Routing Transit Numbers, RTNs and ABA numbers. This code identifies your financial institution.

Your Account Number and Bank Routing Number can be found at the bottom of your checks.

How do I place a Stop Payment on a pending transaction?

To place a Stop Payment on an ACH transaction or an automatic payment, please visit or call your local branch or call our Customer Care Center at 800.374.6123. Stop Payments on these items must be placed at least 3 business days before the item is scheduled to be taken out of your account. A Stop Payment form must be signed within 14 days or the Stop Payment will be voided. Peoples Bank does not place Stop Payments on debit card transactions. A $35 fee applies for Stop Payments.

Where do I find my tax documents?

Come tax season, applicable customers will be mailed tax forms (including a 1099-INT and mortgage-related tax documents) on or before January 31. If you do not receive a form by February 14, please contact our Customer Care Center.
