Meet Lyndsey Schmidt, VP Government Guaranty Lending Specialist at Peoples Bank. Based in our Peoples Bank branch in Lebanon, Ohio, Lyndsey helps small businesses across Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. access Small Business Administration (SBA) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) financing solutions.
A graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Lyndsey brings 17 years of banking experience to her role. Prior to joining Peoples Bank in 2019, she held various banking positions with other financial institutions, building a strong foundation in serving business customers and helping them achieve their financial goals.
“What I enjoy most about my profession is supporting small businesses and helping them access the financing they need to grow and succeed,” Lyndsey said.
“Small business has always been close to my heart. I grew up working in a local family-owned business, and my family also owns a small business today. That personal connection gives me a deep appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and impact small business owners bring to their communities.”
In her role, Lyndsey is committed to helping business owners navigate the lending process and find financing solutions that support their long-term success.

Outside of work, Lyndsey enjoys spending time with her husband Nick and their two daughters, Charlee and Jo. Their household also includes a dog and two cats who help keep life entertaining.
