With more than 20 years of experience in retail and sales management, Emelie Lalama brings strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to community banking as the branch manager of Peoples in Morgantown, Kentucky.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Emelie studied vocal performance and psychology, developing strong communication skills and an understanding of human behavior. She has lived and worked in both major cities and remote communities across the United States, relocating to Morgantown, Kentucky, to be closer to family.

Emelie enjoys supporting customers and strengthening the community, knowing that she and her team have a lasting effect on individuals, families and local businesses. A firm believer that proactive banking can change lives, she is passionate about helping customers plan, make informed decisions and build financial confidence.

She also volunteers through fundraisers, charity walks and community organizations, working alongside local firefighters, law enforcement and Chambers of Commerce.
