An Improved Digital Experience is on its way!

One of Peoples Bank's core values is Clients First and we have listened to your feedback about our online and mobile banking experience. We are excited to share more details about a new online and mobile experience coming August 22, 2022. Be sure to come back for additional details as we get closer to August 22.

How should I prepare? Your Checklist For A Successful Digital Upgrade Transition:

NOW >> Through Friday, August 19, 2022

    Review the Apple or Android Mobile App page, and Personal or Business FAQ page thoroughly to familiarize yourself with all the coming changes. Look for the “Take Action” tag to determine if an action is required by you. 

    Ensure that we have your accurate mobile phone and email. These are essential for receiving your Secure Access Code during your first login on the new system. Learn more about updating your email address and mobile phone number further below on this page.

    Be sure to know your full User ID and password, as they will be needed for your first login on the new system.

    Review and save details for all recurring transfers and wires. These will not convert to the new system.

     Avoid scheduling any account transfers to be made after August 19, 2022. They will not be processed. (This does not include payments scheduled in Online Bill Pay, as they will continue to process.)

    Payments scheduled on systems outside of Peoples Bank's online banking will continue to process as normal (ie. payment made directly on utility website)

    Review helpful guide on how transfers and payments are impacted.

    Review and save details for all established alerts. These will not convert to the new system.

    Personal Online Banking using Personal Finance (money managment tool): Review and save details for accounts and alerts in Personal Finance. These will not convert to the new system.

ON >> Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 8:01pm ET

    PLAN AHEAD:  As of 8:01pm ET on Thursday, August 18, 2022, ACH uploads in Business Online Banking will not be available until Monday, August 22, 2022.

ON >> Friday, August 19, 2022 at 5:00pm ET

    PLAN AHEAD: As of 5:00pm ET, your Peoples Bank Online and Mobile banking will not be available until Monday, August 22, 2022.

ON OR AFTER >> 8:00am ET, Monday, August 22, 2022

    Log in to Online and/or Mobile Banking  (see Apple or Android Mobile App help pages for more info) with your existing username and password. You will be asked to change your password upon first login.

    Establish recurring scheduled transfers and wires.

    Create new alerts under Settings > Alerts.

    Re-establish your accounts and alerts in Personal Finance.

    Enroll in Text Banking if desired (See Text Banking help page for more info.)

    Enjoy your new Peoples Bank digital experience!

Manage Contact Info

Ensure that your mobile phone number and email address are up to date. Having correct contact information will be vital when our new digital experience is available. You can verify your mobile phone number and email address in Online Banking (desktop only) under the tab Customer Service>Manage Contact Information. If you have any additional questions or need assistance, please contact your local branch.

 Business clients should have their Security Manager double check the contact info for their authorized users, and contact their Peoples Bank business banker with any questions.

Text Banking

IMPORTANT: At 5:00pm ET on Friday, August 19, 2022, Peoples Text banking will become unavailable until Monday, August 22, 2022.

Both new and current users of Text Banking will need to log in to Online Banking on Monday, August 22, 2022 to enroll or re-enroll to use this feature.

As of Monday, August 22, 2022, the new Text Banking shortcode will be 226563 (BANKME).
