Meet Michael Matsumura, Branch Manager at Peoples Bank in Georgetown, Kentucky. With more than 10 years of experience in the banking industry, he brings a well-rounded background and a strong passion for serving his community.

A graduate of the University of Cumberlands, Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He has built a solid foundation in financial services and leadership throughout his career.

Michael began his banking journey while still in high school, starting as a teller and working his way through a variety of roles, including personal banker, investment representative, and manager. His hands-on experience across multiple areas of banking allows him to provide thoughtful guidance and tailored solutions for his clients.

As a Georgetown local, Michael is passionate about giving back to the community he grew up in. “I’m honored to serve as the new Branch Manager of our Georgetown location,” Michael shared. “I couldn’t be more excited about serving this community.”
