Meet Dani McCay, Branch Manager at Peoples Bank’s Second Street location in Marietta, Ohio. With a banking career that began in 2019, Dani has grown through every level of banking – from teller to head teller, personal banker, assistant manager, and now, branch manager. Through these experiences, Dani has developed a leadership style grounded in understanding both her team and her customers.
“What I enjoy most about my profession is getting to know my customers on a personal level, understanding their needs and being able to truly help them with all aspects of their banking,” she said. “Building those relationships has always been my favorite part of what I do.”
Dani has been with Peoples Bank for over six years, but her personal connection to the organization runs deeper than her career. As a child, she remembers participating in Peoples Bank’s school banking program, an experience that left a lasting impression.
“Peoples Bank has been a part of my life since I was very young,” she said. “Now, I have the opportunity to be on the other side, bringing that same experience to local students. The bank’s commitment to community is something that has always stood out to me.”
Today, Dani is proud to carry that tradition forward while also leading her branch team and serving the Mid-Ohio Valley community.
“I am committed to leading by example and being present both inside the branch and in our community,” she said. “I strive to give back, build meaningful relationships, and help every customer feel confident and secure in their financial future.”
Over the course of her career, Dani has been recognized for her excellence and dedication, earning honors such as the 2024 and 2025 President’s Club Award, the Going Wide Award, and the Fraud Stopper Award.
Her best advice to customers is simple but powerful: never hesitate to ask questions.
“Financial topics can be complex,” she said. “You don’t know what you don’t know. Asking questions helps you fully understand your options and make informed decisions.”
Outside of the bank, Dani is passionate about financial literacy and enjoys educating elementary students through her leadership of young adult programs. She is also happily married and loves spending time outdoors, especially trout fishing with her dad.
