Peoples Bank Celebrates Kentucky Branches with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremonies

Peoples Bank recently celebrated its 19, newly rebranded Kentucky branches with ribbon-cutting ceremonies. The ceremonies were held during November and December with the help of the local Chambers of Commerce, area non-profits, residents and Peoples Bank associates.

The ribbon cuttings were held in Beaver Dam, Bowling Green, Brownsville, Elizabethtown, Frankfort, Glasgow, Greensburg, Hillview, Horse Cave, Lexington, Louisville, Morgantown, Munfordville, Owensboro, Pleasureville, Shepherdsville and St. Matthews.

During the celebrations, the Bank welcomed guests, provided refreshments and shared its commitment to community story. The Peoples Bank Foundation presented donations to area non-profit organizations like the Green County Food Pantry, Henry County Help Center and United Way of Central Kentucky.

“The ribbon-cutting celebrations at our newly rebranded Peoples Bank branches were a great way to share PEBO with our communities,” said Audrey Lillpop, Vice President and Regional Manager of Western Kentucky. “We were not only able to celebrate how awesome our staff is, but we made significant donations to local non-profits, so our communities got to see that we are so much more than a bank and demonstrate we are here for the long haul.”

Previously, the 19 locations were part of Limestone Bancorp, Inc. On May 1, 2023, Peoples Bancorp announced it completed its acquisition of Limestone Bancorp, Inc., and the locations were officially Peoples Bank as of August 7, 2023. Peoples Bank now has 45 locations in the Commonwealth.
