Creating a Budget

The best budgeting method is one you'll use consistently.

 Set a goal before creating a budget so you have something to work toward, such as paying off debt or saving for a big purchase.

 Start by simply tracking your expenses and spending habits, and be sure to account for self-care purchases and subscriptions. If the money out is more than the money in, see if there are any expenses you can cut.
