Meet the Braxton County, WV Branch Managers!
Meet the Branch Managers of our Braxton County, West Virginia offices: Andrea Nichols (Gassaway) and Kisha Verton (Flatwoods).
Andrea Nichols – Gassaway and Clay
Gassaway Branch Manager Andrea Nichols brings over 17 years of experience in retail banking, commercial banking, and mortgages. She has worked for Bank of Gassaway, Bank One, Star USA Federal Credit Union, BB&T, and Truist. She is also the Peoples Bank Clay, WV Branch Manager.
“I am really excited to see a lot of familiar faces of clients and co-workers,” Nichols said. “I have worked with the majority of the employees at the Gassaway branch with the exception of one new face, so it feels like coming home.”
When she isn’t wearing the Branch Manager hat, Andrea wears the hats of mom, wife, Braxton County Middle School Cheer Head Coach, and volunteer. “I volunteer for community activities through the Sutton Lodge of Moose International, and have also volunteered through many youth, middle school, and high school sports, assisting with their programs in Braxton County, she said. “I have also served as Town Recorder for Gassaway.”
“What I love most about PEBO is the environment they create for employees and clients,” Nichols said, “They aim to treat everyone with kindness and respect.”
Andrea is committed to maintaining a community feel to her branches. “I will do my very best to ensure clients that we are giving them the best service possible,” she said.
Kisha Verton – Flatwoods
Flatwoods Branch Manager Kisha Verton began her career in banking as a Universal Banker in January 2021. By September, she moved into the Personal Banker role, and a short 14 months later became the Branch Manager at the Flatwoods office.
Kisha is involved in her community–she is a council member in Burnsville, WV, and part of the Freedom Festival Committee that the town of Burnsville hosts for Braxton County each year.
“I strive to provide exceptional customer service to each client by finding a resolution for each issue or concern,” Verton said. “I believe in meeting the client where they are, in terms of building solid relationships.”
“Working at Peoples Bank, I have the opportunity to enhance our commitment to community banking by providing products and services to our clients that gives them the hometown feel, but with advantages of a larger institution,” she said.
“I am committed to building long-lasting relationships with our community and clients, and expanding their knowledge of the products and services we have to offer,” she said.
