The Peoples Bank Foundation makes a $10,000 donation to the Marietta Community Foundation’s Hardship & Disaster Relief Fund.


Marietta, Ohio

The Peoples Bank Foundation has made a $10,000 donation to the Marietta Community Foundation’s Hardship & Disaster Relief Fund. The fund provides assistance to Washington County residents facing unforeseen emergencies or natural disasters. This donation is in response to the April 2024 flood affecting the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Several associates volunteered at the Wood County Society's 55th Annual Telethon. The team help the organization raise over $300,000. The Wood County Society empowers communities to ensure anyone with a disability is recognized for their abilities.

Our associates volunteered their time at the Paul G. Blazer High School Career Day, educating students about the variety of opportunities available in the financial industry, as well as the numerous benefits Peoples Bank is proud to provide its employees.

On behalf of the Peoples Bank Foundation, associates presented a donation to the Greenbrier Humane Society. The donation will help support and keep their pet food pantry stocked.

Associates donated copies of the book, "Timberly's Story," to local libraries and schools. PEBO associate Timberly White authored the book with the aid of Children's Hospitals to provide awareness of Sickle Cell Disease.

Morgantown Kentucky associates collected toiletries for victims of domestic violence



Morgantown, Kentucky

Associates collected donations for the Green River Area and Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. The Safe Spaces provide emergency shelter and support services to victims of domestic violence and their children.

Associates volunteered at the Facing Hunger Foodbank, helping to pack 124 boxes of meat, two mobile pantry distributions for the week and 972 Senior boxes for the community.

Associate Rich Vaughan and his son volunteered at the Bea Taylor Market by Freestore Foodbank. Freestore Foodbank's mission is to improve lives by eliminating hunger in partnership with the community and to create a hunger-free, healthy and thriving community.

Wilmington Main Associate Fiona Pendell and Branch Manager JR Jones participated in the Real Money, Real World Financial Literacy event with OSU Extension at the Clinton Massie Middle School. The event allows young people to learn about basic money management practices through simulated lifestyle and budget choices.

The Munfordville Branch donated funds to the Hart County Sheriff's Office to help law enforcement purchase new equipment and keep the deputies and community safe.

Associate Dan Hartung attended the Start with Hello anti-bullying campaign hosted by the Madeira Police Department. The program is dedicated to creating a sense of belonging in communities, especially among youth.
