120 Acts of Kindness
Peoples Bank is delivering 120 Acts of Kindness across our footprint in 2022 as a way to celebrate our 120th anniversary.
As of July 31, 2022, we have delivered 92 Acts of Kindness.

Our Proctorville team purchased groceries of unsuspecting shoppers on a Thursday morning in July.
Our Customer Care team suprised drivers on a Friday morning by purchasing their gas.
Our Cambridge team wanted to help members of the community when they could use support the most. The team gave gas cards to Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center for cancer patients that must come in for regular treatments.
The Peoples Bank team in Akron, Ohio purchased lunch from a local food entreprenuer, International Jerk, for visitors to North Hill Community Development Coproration.
The Peoples Bank Caldwell, Ohio team helped the community stay cool by the pool. The team paid for the admission fee for patrons to the Caldwell public pool.
On June 14, the Peoples Bank team helped celebrate World Blood Donor Day. The team sponsored an American Red Cross blood drive by volunteering and providing drinks and snacks to help provide life saving blood to those in medical emergencies.
The Beachwood, Ohio Peoples Bank team participated in an annual community giveaway in Cleveland at New Beginning Ministry Church. The Peoples Bank team gave away grocery store gift cards, which could be used for food and gas.
As the school year ends and summer begins, the Peoples Bank team wanted to make sure the summer started off right for some Morgan County, Ohio residents. Our McConnelsville team paid for the counselors' attendance fees to the Morgan County 4-H Camp.
Our team members in Jackson spread some cheer by making a donation to Jackson Independent School District for the purchase of new cheerleading mats. The existing mats were over 20 years old and deemed unsafe for the athletes.
The Veteran Memorial Park in Hillsboro, Ohio is a volunteer ran space to pay tribute to our soldiers. In May, the local Peoples Bank team purchased supplies and helped renovate the garden for Memorial Day.
In April, Peoples Bank was able to give back to the city of Logan, West Virginia, Fire Department by bringing them their own controlled fire. The local Peoples Bank branch donated a brand new grill to the the Fire Station. Thank you to all fire fighters who are kindly willing to risk their lives daily for the safety of others in your community!
A dog can be more than just a best friend. A dog can also be a lifesaving companion. In April, Peoples Bank was proud to be able to make a donation towards helping Patterson K9 Academy train Scout, a service dog, to help Addie. It's moments like these during our #120ActsofKindness campaign, that show how much an act of kindness can mean to an individual.
Sometimes a little kindness can go a long way and make a random day truly special. Our Salyersville, Kentucky Peoples Bank team in April had the great opportunity to give the residents of the Salyersville Nursing Home gift bags. The Peoples Bank team gave 105 gift bags in total, with each bag having a stuffed toy, candy, blankets, games, and other goodies inside.
Peoples Bank employees took the opportunity in March to support the Sistersville, West Virginia community by helping at the Sistersville Community Breakfast & Needs Closet. Peoples Bank employees donated their time to serve food, prepare hygiene bags, and make to-go dinners.
