Over 120 pieces of art were entered into the Peoples Art Collection Exhibition for 2008. Works include paintings, drawings, fiber art, photography, and prints. An opening reception was held at Peoples Bank, 138 Putnam Street, Marietta, Friday, October 24.

Peoples featured student artists from local Partner in Education schools. Kid Collection Awards were presented at 5:30 pm and the adult artist awards followed. All works will be on display for the general public through November 24, 2008 during regular bank hours, 8:30 am to 4 pm.

The Peoples Choice winner is chosen at each show by the attendees. This years 2008 Peoples Choice winner was Simona Aizicovici titled "A Dream" created out of pressed flowers.
